The hooded fang is obviously Jacob's father. WHile 'hood' equals 'foreskin,' it also equals 'mask.' Thus Jacob's father, who would be a stand-in for Mordecai Richler, 'masks' himself with a foreksin in order to act on his incestuous desires for his son.
