Eighties Bond Themes

Aren't they great? After about 1985 the Bond theme legacy went into a horrible spin and never recovered. I mean, once you let Duran Duran and Madonna in, you've pretty much consigned yourself to rubbish. But if the sixties were the golden age--Nancy Sinatra, Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey--the early eighties had their moments too.

My two favourites: Sheena Easton's For Your Eyes Only and Lani Hall's Never Say Never Again.

The newer themes all stunk, though Chris Cornell's song for Casino Royale isn't bad.
